Cold Fish

Shamoto runs a small tropical fish shop. His second wife, Taeko, does not get along with his daughter, Mitsuko and this worries him.

One day Mitsuko is caught shoplifting. Murata, who also runs a tropical fish shop, settles things between the shopkeeper and Mitsuko. Shamoto gets a feeling of kinship with Murata and they become friends. By the time Shamoto learns that Murata is actually an insane serial killer, his daughter Mitsuko has already started working at Murata’s shop and living in his house. Shamoto is taken in by Murata’s tactics and becomes his accomplice. Murata threatens Shamoto into helping him cut the victims’ bodies into pieces. They cut the bodies into 1 inch cubes and the bones they burn to ashes. Shamoto is frightened when he watches Murata and his wife cutting rotten human flesh while absently humming a tune.
